How to integrate Appmax with Wake

  1. Step 1: Generate the integration token on Wake

    In the Wake admin panel, go to Settings > Integrations > Tokens. Click "Add Token" and select the "Update order status" permission. Fill in the integration's general data, such as name, type, and technical contact, and save at the bottom of the page.

  2. Step 2: Install the Wake app on Appmax

    In the Appmax app store, find the Wake app and click Install > Continue. Enter the token generated on Wake and finish the installation. Then configure the data requested by Appmax, including the store name and company. When finished, copy only the generated Store ID code — it will be used in the Wake settings.

  3. Step 3: Configure the Appmax connector on Wake

    On Wake, go to Payments > Payment Connectors and select the AppMax connector. Click "Install Configuration" and set up the payment methods you want. For card, boleto, and Pix, fill in the same Store_id copied from Appmax. In the store_front field, use v2 for Storefront 2.0 checkout and v1 for Storefront 1.0. Antifraud validation is handled by Appmax — the connector isn't compatible with Wake's internal antifraud.

  4. Step 4: Adjust payment groups and installments

    After installing the connector, go to Payment Management on Wake. Find the AppMax types you want to enable, such as card, Pix, and boleto. Configure payment groups, installments, and commercial rules according to your store's operation.

  5. Step 5: Review extra adjustments for Storefront 1.0

    If your store still uses Storefront 1.0, the integration needs extra layout adjustments. Review the display of the Copy Pix Code button, the QR Code in My Account, and transactional email tags. You'll also need to publish scripts and CSS in Wake's Script Manager using the Appmax Store ID. Use the full guide to copy the technical snippets exactly as documented.

  6. Step 6: Validate the operation in a real environment

    Before publishing, validate the integration with test orders on card, boleto, and Pix. The integration doesn't support subscription orders and has no payment swapping. If the platform blocks external Appmax URLs, review Wake's security policies and allow the required addresses. After testing, publish the final configuration in the store.
